Key Requirements:

Managing the staff: training, motivating and structuring the team.
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and of the staff are of the highest standard.
Ensure that food cost levels are maintained as specified in the budget.
Develop and apply standard operating procedures.
Ensure compilation of the kitchen Training Plan to meet the business objectives and develop the team.
Develop and apply standard operating procedures.
Ensure that food cost levels are maintained as specified in the budget.
Ensure consistency in food production.
Be responsible for all production of food items for guests and staff.
Responsible to keep all equipment in good working order.
Ensure that cleanliness & hygiene of the workplace and staff are always of highest standard.


Must have a degree in a relevant discipline.
Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Catering Chef
A natural leader, with ability to get the best from a team.
A good communicator, friendly and inclusive, even after a long shift.
Strong knowledge of high-end restaurant set up.
Ability to stay calm and collected under pressure, being a calming influence on the team.
