Job Summary

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, experience in inventory management, preferably in a healthcare environment is highly desirable
  • Degree level qualifications in a related field
  • Inventory Management Certificate/Diploma
  • Knowledge of medical products, project coordination and inventory system
  • Excellent level of Microsoft Office knowledge/ skills including advanced Excel, computerized inventory management system skills

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and update physical inventory count for the warehouse and medical centre inventory
  • Communicate/Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve product availability issues and enhance inventory control
  • Generate and place stock requisitions to replenish inventories based on stock levels
  • Develop, analyze, and report inventory service levels, fill-rates and supplier performance indicators and ensure SLA and KPIs are met
  • Analyze and adjust Maximum Stock and and Reorder Levels based on past and anticipated future usage to meet appropriate supply levels for each inventory item in each MC to avoid out of stocks or overstocks
  • Aged Inventory Analysis – management of slow moving, expired and short shelf life inventory and completion of remediation processes to reduce write offs; collaborate with Supply Chain Manager and MC department leaders of the products used to eliminate such items from inventory in the most fiscally responsible manner
  • Develop standardized inventory management and reporting processes including weekly/monthly exception reporting
  • Oversee product set up process and ongoing maintenance of master material data
