System Administrator
Job Description
To plan, organize, manage staff and overall operations to ensure stable operations of the bank’s IT Systems through best practices and the appropriate collaboration with technical, business and third party organizations.
Provide leadership and direction to the IT Systems staff on the corporate vision, mission, values and behaviors.
Ensure annual review and staff appraisals are completed for all staff in accordance with the banks procedures and timelines.
Identify staff training needs and ensure ongoing development to ensure team members remain adequately skilled.
Oversees the Systems platform for the bank’s data center servers, and storage fabric, inclusive of ongoing architecture, management, and business continuity strategies for same.
Proactively identify issues and corrective actions necessary to sustain the environment.
Coordinate the ongoing activities of the team, inclusive of oversight for the related IT project portfolio as well as ongoing incident response management for supported systems.
To improve productivity by ensuring that functions/operations are streamlined by offering technology alternatives.
