Account Manager

Essential job functions:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, such as social media marketing, SEO and email marketing.
An ability to develop creative, clear, and consistent communication materials to support our clients’ public relations, marketing, and communication strategies; as guided.
Ability to plan, develop, and publish external communications (including press kits, press releases, annual reports, byline articles, storylines/pitch decks, web content, corporate messaging, and other PR vehicles).
Excellent media relations with mainstream and online media.
Provide creative input on branding, including the style guide and editorial standards/policies.
Defining critical success factors to guide assignments and evaluate responsibilities.
Solve problems by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Convert complex information into layman’s terms.
Ability to develop a project approach or work plan.

 

This includes but is not limited to:

Developing and communicating project vision, defining goals, objectives, strategies, and deliverables.
Developing realistic cost projections/estimates, links into broader business strategy, consolidating/ integrating budget components.
Articulating budgets, assumptions, and rationale before more senior leaders.
Effectively managing projects to completion.

 

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or related field.

Work experience

At least 5 years
Experience working in this or a similar position or field.
