Overseeing membership growth, assets and liabilities growth and products uptake of the society

Job Description

Establish and implement all marketing and business growth strategies.
Oversee current offerings and come up with initiatives for new products or services.
Research and analyze market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
Sell and market all SACCO products and prospect for new business.
Prepare presentations for prospective customers when recruiting new members to the SACCO.
Coach, train and supervise the Sales Representative to ensure marketing targets are met.
Collection of competitor’s intelligence and reporting of the same to CEO.
Keep in safe custody all marketing materials i.e. brochures, banners, tapes, etc.
Participate in trade fairs, marketing promotions, road shows and any other publicity campaign as may be assigned and providing reports on the same.
Liaison office in charge of ensuring that information is disseminated to members on time and accurately.
Carry out customer surveys and ensure customer service is up to standard.
Member education – pass SACCO information to the customers on any new policies that may implemented.
Visit clients to get complaints/comments and handling complaints at the field level.
Track all marketing and sales data and create detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to the CEO and Board.
Organize CSR activities for the SACCO.
Any other duty as directed by the CEO.
Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferably in Marketing or a higher Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
An understanding of loans performance metrics/indicators and the ability to interpret and process operations data.
Valid certificate of good conduct.

Business driver and customer driven
Proficient in Microsoft office suite

Experience:

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the financial services sector.
