Key Deliverables Include:
Achieve the P&L by driving the sales revenue; You will own the P&L with the goal of achieving profitability by effectively driving sales revenue through collaborative team effort.
Effective demand creation strategies and feasible systems for monitoring demand creation; The objective is to create a strong desire for the offerings among the target audience for both high value and high volume. It will also involve establishing feasible systems for monitoring demand creation and allowing for effective measurement and evaluation of marketing efforts. This means tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation, conversion rates, and customer engagement metrics, to gauge the success of demand creation strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Annual Marketing plan; You will be in charge of the marketing plan that provides a comprehensive roadmap for achieving marketing goals and aligning them with the overall business objectives.
Marketing reach for products: The goal is to optimize the reach of marketing campaigns to maximize exposure and generate awareness and interest in the products among the intended audience.
Marketing return on investment: Under your leadership, by assessing the ROI, the company will identify the most effective marketing strategies, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure maximum return on investment.
High consumer satisfaction levels: You will be tasked with achieving high consumer satisfaction levels so as to maintain customer loyalty, positive brand perception, and repeat business.
Optimal team management; You are a leader who fosters a positive work culture, promoting teamwork, and providing the necessary support and resources to enable team members to perform at their best.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in business management, Marketing or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience of progressive demand creation
Demonstrated experience within the FMCG industry/sector
Membership to a professional marketing body
Tactical, hands on experience in lead forecasting, and analysis
Experience implementing enterprise- level demand creation strategies
Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture, yet still spot the minute details.
Critical thinker with the ability to analyze situations and determine their authenticity.
Strong data analysis (consumer behaviour and experience) with ability to analyse large amount of data
Resolute and detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and follow through.
Strong project management with a proven ability to manage budgets.
A self-starter, proactive and confident in building a network, collaborates and knows how to deliver a vision, a plan and then make it happen.
Relationship builder with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and commercial outcomes.
Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
Excellent leadership and people-management skills with ability to develop and drive high performing teams
