Product Manager, Mobile Channels

DESCRIPTION

The jobholder is will develop and implement Bank’s Mobile-First Digital strategy and ensure the Bank has an excellent go-to–market strategy for all Mobile Channels to increase penetration & utilization, and reduce churn on the Bank’s Mobile Channels across the market segments. Additionally, they will consistently create differentiated Mobile-First offerings through innovation and partnering to grow the Bank’s profitability and to deliver on strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Bank’s Mobile-First Digital strategy for Kenya liaising with the Head of Digital.
  • Design, create, deliver and maintain a robust Mobile channel offering with intuitive digital customer journeys that effortlessly increase conversions/transactions, improve experience, generate revenue and lower cost to serve.
  • Liaise with Corporate Communications/Retail/Commercial/Corporate Business Units for Mobile Channel marketing and rollout of new Mobile channel features, services and experiences.
  • Reduce transaction costs via innovative Mobile channel products and services to decongest banking halls.
  • Create strategic alliances/partnership to grow the banks’ market share in its chosen niche.
  • Define and document Product Papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), SLAs and Risk Management
  • Frameworks for all Mobile Channel digital solutions.
  • Work with other support units i.e. Retail/Commercial/Corporate Business Units, Operations, Risk Management,
  • Product Development, Fincon, Operations and IT to maximize products’ ROI/RO.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Digital.
    REQUIREMENTS

Qualification

  • A good first degree in any discipline or equivalent degree. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage
  • A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage.
